The stations were designed with the intent for zero impact to the jobsite. Handwash wastewater will be removed from each jobsite and disposed of properly to minimize the spread of unnecessary potentially harmful material.

Everyday seems to bring a new challenge in fighting the coronavirus spread. Limited supplies and PPE that first responders and front line medical professionals desperately need – are scarce. But in light of limited supplies – we are finding creative ways to do our part in protecting our men and our clients!

4.5.20 COVID19 Update – Internal Protocols Implemented on the Job

The health and wellness of our workers and local communities are of the highest importance to us as we continue to service your buildings.

Below is our proactive approach to protecting our employees and our clients. The following protocols are in place as we all work together to fight the spread of COVID-19.

CRW staff and field workers have been trained and educated on the symptoms, proper hygiene procedures and prevention of COVID-19.

Workers shall practice social distancing as much as possible, maintaining a distance of 6 feet or more.

In keeping with Oahu Mayor Kirk Caldwell’s recommendation of wearing masks, CRW workers shall wear masks while in public settings, where social distancing is difficult to maintain, and where required on the jobsite.

Mobile Sanitation Stations for hand-washing on the job have been implemented at each jobsite.

When washing, workers shall wash hands a minimum of 20 seconds.

Cleaning and disinfectant materials have been provided for employee use.

Workers are instructed to avoid touching the face area – nose, mouth, eyes and ears.

When coughing or sneezing, workers shall cover into elbow or use a tissue.

Personnal water containers strictly enforced for each employee. No common water jugs.

If workers, a household or family member is sick or is being tested for COVID-19 they will not come to work.

Workers shall interact only with designated personnel on the jobsite, keeping contact to others at a minimum.

Building access routes of entry and exit will be restricted to jobsite areas only. All other areas will be limited.

When using building elevators, workers will wait for an empty elevator to maintain social distancing.

The health and wellness of our workers and local communities are of the highest importance to us as we continue to service your buildings.   Classified under Mayor Kirk Caldwell’s Emergency Order 2020-02 as of March 22, 2020 and Governor Ige’s Third Supplementary Proclamation COVID-19, as an “Essential Business,” Commercial Roofing & Waterproofing, Inc. remains open. We continue to follow the CDC guidelines as well and as the situation is rapidly evolving, this plan is subject to change. Below is our proactive approach to protecting our employees and our clients. The following protocols are in place as we all work together to fight the spread of COVID-19.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Effective Immediately for All Employees

All CRW employees have been trained and educated on the symptoms, proper hygiene procedures and prevention of COVID-19.

Practice social distancing as much as possible, maintaining a distance of 6 feet or more.

Identify opportunities to replace in-person meetings with video-conferencing and/or telephone.

Maintain good hygiene by regularly washing your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds minimum or use a hand sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol.

Cleaning and disinfectant materials have been provided for employee use.

Employees are instructed to avoid touching the face area – nose, mouth, eyes and ears.

When coughing or sneezing, workers shall cover into elbow or use a tissue.

If employee, a household or family member is sick or is being tested for COVID-19 they will not come to work. Depending on the situation, you may be required to self-quarantine for up to 14 days before returning to work.

In keeping with Oahu Mayor Kirk Caldwell’s recommendation of wearing masks, CRW employees shall wear masks while in public settings, where social distancing is difficult to maintain, or where required on the jobsite.

5.12.20 COVID19 Update – The Committment of Hawaii’s Construction Industry: Our Pledge to Avoid the Spread of COVID-19 on Hawaii’s Construction Sites

Commercial roofing was proud to be a part of GCA Hawaii’s initiative to take action with Hawaii’s construction industry in response to COVID-19. “This initiative centered around the Hawaii Construction Industry Pledge, a collaborative, unified effort led by the GCA to elevate public awareness about the commitment being made by construction companies to implement safety measures during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Hawaii Construction Industry Pledge (attached) sent a strong message to the general public and was supported by more than 150 of the state’s contractors, contractors’ associations, construction-related firms, labor unions, business associations and developers.”
